Sathiyamoorthy Subakeethan

Sathiyamoorthy Subakeethan is an experienced professional serving as the Branch Manager at BBK Chartered Accountants. Having joined the firm in 2015 as an IT Administrator, he played a key role in managing information technology systems and enhancing operational efficiency. Through his dedication, leadership, and commitment to continuous professional development, he progressed within the organization and was appointed Branch Manager in 2024.

In his current role, Subakeethan oversees branch operations, client relationship management, team leadership, and business development initiatives. His unique combination of technical expertise and management capabilities enables him to drive operational excellence while delivering exceptional service to clients. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology (HNDIT) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, providing him with a strong academic foundation in both technology and business management.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Subakeethan is passionate about cricket and actively supports the development of the sport in rural communities. He believes that sports play an important role in empowering young people and creating opportunities for personal growth. Through his involvement in grassroots cricket initiatives, he is committed to helping identify and nurture future talent while contributing to community development. With over a decade of experience, Subakeethan continues to demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to both organizational success and social impact.

Karunakaran Saginthan

Branch Manager, Vavuniya

Karunakaran Saginthan is the Branch Manager of BBK Partnership’s Vavuniya office, bringing over a decade of experience in accounting, taxation, payroll administration, and business advisory services.

After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2014, he gained industry experience with Kahawatte Plantations PLC and Hirdaramani before joining BBK Partnership as a Trainee Accountant in 2016. His consistent professional development and strong leadership capabilities saw him progress to Assistant Accountant in 2019 and Branch Manager in 2022.

Saginthan has developed significant expertise in payroll processing, UK taxation, and SME accounts preparation, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. He is dedicated to delivering accurate, compliant, and value-driven financial solutions while fostering long-term client relationships and driving operational excellence within the organisation.

Sathiyanesan Sathiyaseelan

Sathiyanesan Sathiyaseelan is a highly accomplished finance professional with nearly 11 years of extensive experience in financial reporting, financial modelling, management accounting, taxation, and audit. He brings a strong blend of technical expertise and international exposure to deliver accurate, insightful, and value-driven financial solutions.

He is a fully qualified Chartered Management Accountant, having completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification in 2017 and becoming an Associate Member in 2021. He further strengthened his global credentials by becoming an Associate Member of Certified Practising Accountant, Australia (CPA Australia) in 2024. He possesses extensive accounting experience both in local and international markets, with audit exposure across diverse industries, including both private and public sector organisations, as well as leading brands in Sri Lanka.

Sathiyanesan joined the BBK family through one of its sister companies in 2020 and became part of the BBK partnership in 2025. Throughout his tenure with BBK, he has managed accounting portfolios across the UK, Malta, and UAE markets while also serving as Company Secretary for BBK clients in Sri Lanka. Technologically adept, Sathiyanesan is highly proficient in an extensive suite of accounting software and ERP systems, including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics 365, IRIS, TaxCalc, AS400, and SAP, backed by a Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering. A natural leader since his school days, where he served as Deputy Head Prefect, he is passionate about continuous learning, driving innovative ideas, and delivering high-value solutions within dynamic corporate environments.

Kohuledas Muraleetharan

Kohuledas Muralitharan became a part of BBK Chartered Accountants in 2022, taking on the role of Human Resources Manager. In this position, he has played a key role in aligning the objectives of the company with the well-being of its employees. His areas of expertise include talent retention, performance management, and conflict resolution.
 
He holds a Master’s degree in Population & Development along with a B.Com degree, providing him with a robust academic foundation in business management and human resources practices. With more than 16 years of experience in international non-governmental organizations and prominent private sectors in Sri Lanka, he is committed to creating transparent, supportive, and inclusive work environments that empower top talent to thrive while consistently exceeding organizational goals. His ambition is to spearhead focused upskilling initiatives to develop a strong pipeline of future leaders for the organization.

Velauthapillai Kobikrishna

Operational Manager

Velauthapillai Kobikrishna became a part of BBK Partnership’s Jaffna Branch in August 2015, starting as an Accounts Trainee and now holding the position of Accounts Manager. He possesses a Bachelor of Business Management degree and has a wealth of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.

Before his tenure at BBK, he served as an Audit Associate at SJMS, a firm affiliated with Deloitte, where he acquired significant experience as an Internal Auditor for various listed companies in sectors such as banking and retail, including Commercial Bank PLC and Abans PLC. Kobikrishna is not only a strong team player but also an excellent trainer for accounting software, particularly for beginners and fellow colleagues.

In his present capacity, Kobikrishna is responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, ensuring VAT compliance, managing accounting functions, preparing year-end financial statements, handling corporate taxation, and supervising accounting teams. He is dedicated to providing precise, compliant, and value-oriented financial solutions while upholding the highest standards of professional service for a wide range of the BBK partnership clients forever.

Vijayakumaran Nanthatheepan

Vijayakumaran Nanthatheepan joined BBK in 2016 as an Assistant Accountant and has since become a key member of the team. He is responsible for managing accounting operations, taxation, payroll, and job control processes, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to clients. Nanthan holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Jaffna. He is also working towards completing the professional level qualification of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Working closely with Mrs Meera Arnold, Nanthan manages a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to small and medium-sized limited companies. With strong expertise in personal taxation and sole trader accounts, he supports businesses across a variety of industries. Known for his excellent communication and organisational skills, Nanthan effectively coordinates with both clients and colleagues, managing assignments from start to finish and building trusted, long-term professional relationships.

Outside of work, Nanthan remains deeply connected to his roots and takes great pride in his hometown of Jaffna. He has a strong appreciation for its rich cultural heritage, traditions, and agricultural practices, and is passionate about preserving and promoting Jaffna’s unique culture and traditional agriculture for future generations. This reflects his commitment to the community and the values that have shaped him.

Sivasubramaniam Sugatheepan

Sivasubramaniam Sugatheepan joined BBK Partnership in February 2017 and currently serves as a Senior Accountant. He holds an impressive portfolio of professional and academic qualifications, including an MBA, BCS (UK), MCSE, MCSA, MCP (USA), CMA (AUS), and ACPM (SL), reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and excellence.

With extensive experience in personal taxation, corporation tax, accounts preparation, and financial reporting, Sugatheepan provides comprehensive accounting and taxation support to a diverse portfolio of clients. He possesses strong technical expertise in leading accounting and tax software platforms, including IRIS, TaxCalc, Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.

Known for his analytical approach and attention to detail, Sugatheepan is dedicated to delivering accurate, compliant, and value-driven solutions, helping clients effectively manage their financial and taxation obligations while supporting their long-term business objectives.

Mathumai Manivannan

Mathumai Manivannan joined BBK Chartered Accountants in 2018 and is a fully qualified Chartered Management Accountant, holding the prestigious ACMA (UK) and CGMA qualifications. With more than Eight years of valuable experience in the accounting profession, she has worked with a diverse range of clients, primarily small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), across various industries.

Her core responsibilities include the preparation of statutory accounts, bookkeeping, VAT compliance, management accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and providing comprehensive accounting support to clients. She also manages a portfolio of UK and international clients, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Throughout her career, Mathumai has developed extensive expertise in cloud accounting software and financial reporting, helping businesses streamline their financial processes and meet their regulatory obligations efficiently. Outside of her professional commitments, Mathumai enjoys continuous learning and professional development. She is currently pursuing an MBA and has a keen interest in emerging technologies, particularly the impact of artificial intelligence on the accounting profession. She also values spending quality time with her family and children.

Srirubie Satheeskumar

Srirubie Satheeskumar joined BBK Partnership in January 2018 as a Trainee Accountant. She initially worked within the payroll team and was subsequently promoted to Payroll Team Leader, where she was responsible for managing payroll, pension administration, and HMRC compliance, while supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.

During her time at BBK, Srirubie successfully completed the CIMA qualification and became an ACMA (UK), CGMA. Following this achievement, she was promoted to Accountant. Her key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive accounting services for limited companies, including full accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and tax compliance.

Srirubie has experience working with a range of accounting and payroll software, including QuickBooks, Xero, BrightPay, IRIS, and TaxCalc.

Wickramarajasingam Parasuraman

Wickramarajasingam Parasuraman, known to clients and colleagues as Para, has been a valued member of BBK Partnership since 2018 and currently serves as Payroll Manager. He brings extensive experience in payroll management, compliance, and client service, overseeing payroll operations for a diverse portfolio of businesses across various sectors.

With a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements, Para is responsible for ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations. He works closely with clients to provide practical guidance, resolve complex payroll matters, and support their ongoing payroll and employment obligations.

His commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and client satisfaction has enabled him to build strong relationships with clients while maintaining the highest standards of payroll compliance and service delivery.

Piratheepa Roshan

Piratheepa Roshan is the Company Secretarial Team Manager at BBK Partnership’s Jaffna Office, bringing extensive experience in corporate governance, statutory compliance, company administration, and secretarial services.

After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2017, she joined BBK Partnership, where she has played a key role in supporting clients with a wide range of company secretarial and corporate compliance matters. Through her dedication, technical expertise, and leadership abilities, she progressed within the organisation and now leads the Company Secretarial Team in the Jaffna Office.

Piratheepa has developed significant expertise in company incorporation, maintenance of statutory registers, preparation and filing of annual returns, board and shareholder resolutions, corporate governance advisory, and regulatory compliance requirements. She works closely with clients to ensure their businesses remain compliant with all applicable statutory and regulatory obligations while providing practical guidance on corporate administration matters. As Team Manager, Piratheepa is committed to delivering professional, accurate, and timely company secretarial services, fostering strong client relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and corporate governance across the organisation.
